Day Six of the Mukono T20 Cup at Florida Cricket Ground delivered contrasting narratives of dominance and nail-biting drama.
The morning saw Lugazi Trekkers produce a commanding all-round display to crush Njeru Warriors, while Mukono Development held their nerve to edge Buikwe Gladiators in a tense afternoon thriller.
In the morning clash, Lugazi Trekkers batted first after winning the toss.
Jaffer Ochaya anchored the innings with a composed 46 off 50 balls, providing stability amid regular wickets.
The innings, however, was defined by Joseph Baguma, who blazed 77 off 37 balls, including three fours and seven towering sixes, propelling the Trekkers to a formidable 166/5.
Amos Ahura chipped in with a quick 20 off 15 to maintain momentum.
Chasing 167, the Warriors never found a rhythm.
Peter Kadu fell on the very first ball, and though Captain Edwin Nuwagaba offered brief resistance with 26 off 14, the batting lineup collapsed under disciplined bowling.
