KCCA FC claimed a 2-1 victory against URA FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League match played at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo under the floodlights on a Friday evening to move back the top of the log.
Lethal Striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe scored a first half brace haunting his former pay masters as he put the Kasasiro boys in a comfortable 2-0 lead before the half time break.
The tax collectors came back strong in the second stanza fight their heads out for a point but they only managed a consolation scored by Joseph Ssemujju as he pounced on a loose ball off a corner to beat the KCCA FC backline to a goal after a poor clearance.
KCCA FC now comfortably sit in second place with just a seperation of goals scored against Police FC who lead with joint 14 points. The kasasiro boys bounce back from their first league defeat against the defending champions Vipers SC before the international break.
KCCA FC will return to action as they visit Mbarara City whereas URA FC will host Buhimba United.
