Lugazi FC have appointed experienced tactician Steven Bogere as new head coach on a one year employment Friday October 25, 2024.
This happened after the dismissal of former head coach Sadiq Ssempigi who passed on the stick to assistant coach Olivier Amani Mbekeka to make history in one League.
Mbekeka managed to secure the Club’s first win of top flight action and this calls for Bogere’s experience to hold on the winning streak after coaching different teams at the top level like: SC Villa, UTODA, Idudi FC, UPDF, Proline, Victoria University (defunct), and Onduparaka.
Recently, he was coaching Mawokota in the Buganda Masaza Cup, having already won the Championship twice with Buddu.
He finds Lugazi FC in 13th on the League table with Five (5) points, two off bottom side Bright Stars
