Relegation threatened Bright Stars travel to Arua in revenge mood on Saturday to face Onduparaka at the Aba bet Greenlight Stadium in Match day 29 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Caterpillars have been struggling since their win away at Express losing two times at home in their last three league games(against Arua Hill SC and Champions Vipers SC).

Are Onduparaka done for the season? No, but Yes is not far away from the answer, in fact, it might be true since they are not in the relegation battle or tittle conversation but still have a Muhammad Shaban who looks to grab the golden boot in their last game despite not being available for this one.

On Friday 6th May 2022 after losing 3-0 at home to the Kongolo in the West Nile derby, Onduparaka aim was to protect home turf in order to secure the regional pride something that didn’t go as planned.

They sit in nineth with 34 points in 28 games played this season.

On the other hand, opponent Soltillo Bright Stars have won eight, drawn five and lost fifteen, something that has put them relegation fighting postion this season.

Apart from their last two games against top sides URA FC and KCCA FC, The Japanese owned club had improved their trend winning three on the bounce something that too them out of the red zone.

Before the game Bright stars head coach spoke to the club media and said that tomorrow’s game means a lot.

It means a lot as we are not still safe and we need to collect the three points ahead of us and those are the ones against Onduparaka

Brights Stars are 12th with 30 points, just 2 away from the relegation zone.

Last result.

Onduparaka lost 3-0 at home to rivals Arua Hill SC in West Nile derby while Bright stars lost to 3-1 away in Ndejje against URA FC.

What would a win mean.

A win would take Onduparaka FC to seventh on 37, a point a head of the UPDF FC who also play Express on Saturday while a win for Bright Stars would take them away from the relegation zone to eleventh on the log with 34 points, level with SC Villa in tenth.

Match statistics.

This will be the 11th meeting between the two sides Bright stars won 4, drawn 3 and lost the rest.

Onduparaka won the first round tie 1-0 at Kavumba Recreation Ground thanks to Ramadthan Dudu who later switched sides to relegated Mbarara City in January.

Soltilo Bright Stars have drawn two and lost one of their three trips to Arua against Onduparaka and yet to score a goal.
