StarTimes UPL: Second round fixtures released

The Uganda Premier League secretariat has on Thursday evening released the fixtures for the second round of the 2021/22 season.

The second round will have 120 games just like the first round that kicked off in December last year with just a few games scheduled for an early kickoff.

The second round of the league will kick off on Wednesday, 31st March 2021 with a game on the card.

Busoga United will get the second round underway, playing host to Onduparaka FC at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru, while the following day, we shall have MYDA playing hosts to record champions, SC Villa at the King George IV Memorial Stadium, Tororo

Matchday 16 will continue on Friday with second-placed Vipers SC tussling it out with UPDF in Bombo, whilst KCCA FC will take on BUL FC in Lugogo.

The game of the matchday 16 fixtures will come on Saturday when top-placed URA FC visits the Betway Muteesa II Stadium, Wakulukuku to take on Express FC who finished the first round third on the log, 4 points below the tax collectors.

The league is expected to end in June to give enough time to prepare for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
