Police FC will be going for maximum points when they host URA FC at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the Startimes Uganda Premier League on Friday.

Police FC had a reshuffle in their coaching staff firing Abdallah Mubiru last week after leaving the side laying just a place above the relegation zone having picked up only three points in their last six games. (loosing three and drawing the rest)

The Cops have now appointed John Luyinda and Tony Mawejje as their new head coach and assistant coach respectively with hope of saving the club from relegation.

A win against URA FC will be a big ask for a side that has only scored just three goals in their last six games but they will be hoping to create an upset.

On the other side, the Tax Collectors just like the Cops have also had a reshuffle in their coaching staff showing the door to a couple of officials, the most notable one being assistant coach Simon Masaba to replace him with former Soltilo Bright Stars coach Backer Mbowa.

After the boost in the technical staff, URA FC will be going for all the three points when they visit relegation side Police FC with hope of finishing second in the League.

The Tax Collectors come into the game on the back of a 3-0 loss away to Mbarara City in Mbarara and the side will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

They return to the venue where they lost to 1-0 to KCCA and will be hoping to exorcise their demons against a relegation troubled side.

The last Fixture between the two sides ended goalless at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.

Last Fixture

Police FC lost their last game 3-0 away against Mbarara City FC while URA FC lost 3-0 at home to Vipers SC.

What would a win mean.

A win for URA FC would take them to 46 points, one  with in second placed KCCA FC while a win for Police FC would take them out of the relegation zone, to 13th level on points with 12th placed Bright Stars.

Team news

Police FC will be without youngster Sammy Ssebaduka and long term absentees Eddy Kapampa and Hassan Mahmood.

For URA FC, they continue to be without John Alou Kokas who is away on School football engagements in the USSSA competitions in ARUA.
