After winning 3-1 away against Wakiso Giants On Saturday 7th May 2022, relegation stationed Police FC look forward to host Jinja side BUL FC at the MTN Omondi stadium on Saturday.
The Cops have beaten 5th-placed BUL only once in the last seven league games and don’t look like they can match the Eastern Giants at this point of the season.
They will look to boost their results sheet with hope that striker Frank Kalanda can replicate his performance against the Purple Sharks to help them clinch a win at home.
Police are courting relegation in 14th place on 28 points in 28 games played this meaning that they average a point per game.
On the other side, Stanbic Uganda Cup finalists who are 5th behind Arua Hill are winless in their last three league games.
It was fair win for the Eastern giants when the two sides met in the first round at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe with goals from Ibrahim Mugulusi and Richard Wadyaka, Police’s consolation came in from their former forward Brian Muluuli Mayanja.
This time round, BUL head coach Alex Isabirye is putting his trust in his boys to combine well and push him to 4th or 3rd.
We are playing Police FC tomorrow, we know it’s going to be a tough game, Police is fighting to see that they don’t get relegated and they need the three points but as I told you we are competing with each and every team that is above us so we need to at least finish in fourth or third position. So the the game won’t be easy but we need the three points.”
BUL who have just clinched a spot in the final of the Uganda Cup have an aim which is to play the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
BUL are also at the blink of getting into the top 4 with a win after Arua Hill loosing away to SC Villa on Friday.
Last result.
Police FC won their last game 3-1 away at Wakiso Giant while BUL FC lost 2-1 to Express at Wankulukuku in their last Matchday.

For BUL FC a win would take them to fourth, level on points with Arua Hill but with greater goal difference.
