Striker Anwar Ntege netted a brace for Busoga United as they defeated Tooro United 3-1in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Buhinga Stadium on Friday evening.
The former URA forward got his first from the spot, finding the back of the net after Posiano Ssegonja had handled Tibita Laban’s cross in the forbidden area.
Marvin Oshaba levelled matters for Tooro United from the spot after Adrian Sserugo was fouled.But Shaka Ssozi restored Busoga’s lead minutes afterwards.
Ntege’s second of the game came later on, heading in a brilliant Paul Onzima’s cross.
The game ended with the visitors securing a 3-1 victory over the hosts on a scrappy Buhinga Stadium pitch.
With the victory, Busoga move to seventh spot on the log, with six points in five games while Tooro United drop to 12th with four points.
Busoga United will host Soltilo Bright Stars in the next fixture while Tooro United will play Wakiso Giants away.
