Midfielder Musa Mudde netted a stoppage time winner as UPDF FC defeated Mbarara City 1-0 at the Bombo Military Stadium in a rescheduled StarTomes Uganda Premier League game played on Saturday.
In the fourth minute of the time added on by the referee, Mudde converted from the spot to hand head coach Brian Ssenyondo a vital victory over his former side, Mbarara City.
With the victory, the Army side move fifth on the log with 8 points garnered in 5 games while the Ankole Lions stay ninth with 6 points.
In the next fixture, UPDF will play KCCA on 19th November while Mbarara City will battle Vipers SC on the same day.
