KCCA’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League title hopes suffered another key blow as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Arua Hill at Lugogo.
KCCA came into the game with a chance of reducing Vipers SC seven-point gap atop with a win, but that wasn’t possible as they settled for a frustrating stalemate.
The opening half was far from entertaining as both sides struggled to create any meaningful chance to break the deadlock, with the only realistic chance at goal came just before the break as Innocent Media rattled the crossbar following Ibrahim Tembo’s long throw.
Having looked blunt upfront in the opening half, KCCA head coach Morley Byekwaso made a double change at restart as he bought on Mwanje Elvis and Davis Kasirye for Ashraf Mugume and Yassar Mugerwa respectively.
The second half was far no different from the opening half as both sides still struggled to get an shot on target from their chances

KCCA could have won almost at the death, but Charles Lwanga failed to find the target after being set through by Kasirye.
With a point, the Kasasiro Boys move to 46 points in 23 games and now six points below Vipers SC, who have played a game less.
Arua Hill, who have drawn their last four games now move to fifth place on the log with 40 points.
KCCA will play Vipers SC next in what is dubbed the title decider.
