Express FC will be targeting maximum points as they travel to Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium to take on Wakiso Giants on Wednesday evening.

The Red Eagles come into game on the back of a 2-1 victory away to rivals SC Villa, their second successive victory under Coach James Odoch after having beaten Police 2-1 in their previous games. They sit 6th on the log with 39 points, three above their opponents Wakiso Giants who have blown hot and cold throughout the season.

In his pre-match presser, James Odoch, the Express gaffer said he acknowledges that Wakiso Giants are one of the best scorers in the league but his team will do whatever it takes to stop them from the finding the back of the net.

“Ofcourse our game tomorrow (Wednesday) against Wakiso Giants will be a different game because Wakiso is not S.C Villa, they have their style of play but we’ve been watching them on several occasions and we’ve been perfecting our errors from the previous game” Odoch said before adding;

“They score many goals at home and that’s what we want to avoid and our target is to win tomorrow’s game so that we close the gap and finish in the top 4”. he concluded

On the other side, The Purple Sharks have been in staggering form having won three and lost two out of their last 5 games

With their low scoring rate, they hope to create more chances in order to improve on their goal tally that is reducing each and every day that passes by.

The Purple sharks main challenge has been coceding at home losing two of their last three at home and winning one.

They lie 7th on the Log with 36 points, three less than Express FC with 24 games played.

Wakiso Giants won their last game away in Buhinga against Tooro united just like Express who defeated SC Villa in Jinja.

What Could A Win Mean.

A win could take Express FC to fourth position on 42 points in place of BUL FC.

While a win for Wakiso Giants in this encounter would take them level on points with Express.
