The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) has announced that Uganda’s top flight league, the StarTimes Uganda Premier league will kick off in October.
This was through a documeny released by FUFA about the Club Licensing Action Plan for 2021/22 season.
With the league expected to kick off on 15th October, the draft fixtures will be released on 13th September while the final fixture will be out on 20th the same month.
The Super 8 competition, which wasn’t played last season will take place between 15th-30 September.
While the FUFA Big League play offs are to be played between 15th-17 August.
Four teams (Blacks Power, Gadaffi, Nyamityobora and Proline) will battle out for that one spot left to join the Uganda Premier League.
Arua Hill SC and Tooro United already gained top flight promotion after leading Elgon and Rwenzori groups
