Stanbic Uganda Cup: Semifinals new dates set, to be played over one leg

The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) has announced the new dates for the semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

According to the football governing body, the last four ties will happen on Tuesday, September 21st and Wednesday, September 22nd.

These two games will be played at the FUFA Technical Center,Njeru over a single leg instead of the usual double-legged affairs.

Police will take on Vipers SC while the record holders Express FC will battle with BUL.

These games were due to take place in August but due to complaints from the concerned clubs and National Team engagements, they were postponed.

FUFA has also confirmed that the final of these games will be played on 26th September at the same venue.

Proline are the defending champions of this tournament as in 2020, the competition never finished due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new dates are as below
  • 21st/09/2021 – Police FC vs Vipers SC
  • 22nd/09/2021 – BUL FC vs Express FC
