The Round of 32 in the 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup promises thrilling matchups, with three Uganda Premier League (UPL) team games.
Police FC and Bright Stars set to headline the fixture as the two meet in what is already being dubbed The Kavumba Derby.
The match, which will take place between February 19th and 28th, is poised to be a dramatic encounter, as it’s a recap of last season’s Round of 16, where Police FC triumphed 4-0 in a dominant display.
The two sides also met earlier in the UPL season, with a 1-1 draw at the Kavumba Recreation Ground.
However, this time round a venue for their upcoming clash remains unconfirmed, as Police FC’s SCP Timothy Halango indicated that the club is still considering its options.
In other notable UPL matchups, current league leaders and three-time cup champions, Vipers SC, will face Mbarara City, while Maroons FC will meet Wakiso Giants in a highly anticipated tie.
The tournament will also see KCCA FC, joint record champions, travel to Arua to play Kuluva Rainbow FC, while defending champions Kitara FC face Catida FC.

The winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup.
