Youngster Owen Kasule netted the lone goal of the game as BUL FC shocked Express FC in a Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-final tie at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Mukisa’s strike came Midway the first half after he curled the ball past Denis Otim, after a poor clearance by Issa Lumu.

After releasing most of their players, BUL had to play with only two substitutes on the bench as the new players were ineligible to play in this game.

The Red Eagles, who were also eliminated from the CAF Champions League a few days ago were  full upfront and failed to create enough scoring chances

Charles Musige had the closest chance for the Red Eagles just before the full-time whistle but failed to find the target after coming one on one with Sanon Mulabi.

BUL who had to hold on for the win in the last 10 minutes of the game after relentless attacks by Express, will play Vipers SC in the final on Sunday evening at Njeru.

Vipers eliminated Police FC in the other semifinal.
