The Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-final game between Express FC and BUL FC has been rescheduled
This was confirmed on Friday afternoon in a letter written to both clubs by the FUFA Competitions Director Aisha Nalule.
The said match was due to take place on 22nd September 2021 but now will take place on 23rd September at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
According to the letter, the rescheduling is due to the rescheduling of the CFA Champions League preliminary round second leg match between Express and Al-Merrikh in Sudan.
“THE CAF Champions League match between Al Merrikh and Express FC has been rescheduled from 17th September to 19th September 2021 in Sudan, the charge of fixtures has affected the intial travel plans of Express FC back home from Sudan” part of the letter released by FUFA read.
“Consquently match no. SUC. 58 BUL FC VS. Express FC has been rescheduled from 22nd to 23rd September 2021, venue and time remain unchanged.”
The other semifinal between Vipers and Police will take place on 21st September as earlier planned.
The final will played on 26th September 2021 at the same venue.
Proline are the defending Champions of the tournament as in 2020, it was finished due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
