The fight to secure a spot in next season’s Uganda Premier League intensifies as Soltilo Bright Stars FC take on Police FC in the highly anticipated Kavumba Derby. With both sides eager to finish above the relegation zone, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Police FC are eager to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 home defeat to Kitara FC in their last league game. Assistant coach Robert Ssekweyama has called on his team to shift focus to the Bright Stars match, emphasizing the need for maximum points.
“We were disappointed with our last game. We didn’t get the result we wanted as we lost all the points at home, but that is history now. The focus shifts to our game tomorrow,” said Ssekweyama.
“We have prepared the best approach for the team to create better chances and win. We understand Bright Stars are struggling, but it won’t be an easy game since they are fighting relegation.”
A win for Police FC will further strengthen their chances of survival, putting them in a more comfortable position on the table. On the other hand, Bright Stars have a long and difficult road ahead as they continue their battle to avoid relegation.
