Police FC cruised to a 4–0 victory over Buhimba United Saints at Kira Road on Wednesday, moving joint-top of the Uganda Premier League with 17 points level with KCCA and SC Villa. KCCA stay top on head-to-head, while Buhimba remain 13th with 9 points.

Denis Kalanzi opened the scoring in the 28th minute, pouncing on a rebound after Jamil Kiyimba failed to hold Lawrence Tezikya’s shot. Umaru Kasumba doubled the lead in the 41st minute following a clever interception and assist from Obedi Brian.

Police continued their dominance after the break, with Saidi Kyeyune making it 3–0 in the 59th minute from a Kalanzi assist. Former Buhimba player Derrick Maviiri sealed the rout in the 80th minute, finishing off Emmanuel Mugume’s pass.

Buhimba offered little in response as Police cruised to a convincing win that boosts their title credentials.
