URA FC duo of Steven Mukwala and Sam Timbe have been voted the best player and coach respectively for the months of January and February at the Pilsner Uganda Premier League Awards.
The duo were awarded on Monday at Kati Kati Restaurant- Taking home a plaque and Shs.1m
Mukwala scored five goals in seven games in the months of January and February to beat off teammate Vianne Ssekajugo and Vipers SC striker Ceasar Manzoki.
This is Mukwala second Pilnser of the Month Award, having taken his first in November.
Meanwhile, Timbe was voted best coach in months of January and February. He guided URA to five wins in seven games.
Timbe beat off competition from Vipers tactician Roberto Oliviera and KCCA’s Morley Byekwaso.
At the same event, Luwagga Huzairu won the UPL fan of the month Award for predicting the most correct results.
