Pilsner Awards: Anaku, Simbwa named March’s best

KCCA striker Sadat Anaku and  Sam Simbwa have won the Pilsner March awards for player and coach respectively.

Sadat Anaku netted six times in five games in March to beat off strong competition from URA’s Steven Mukwala and Busoga United’s Ssozi Shaka

Mukwala was directly involved in six goals out of URA’s ten, scoring five times and an assist to extend his goal scoring tally to a double figures while  Ssozi netted thrice for Busoga United in March.

Meanwhile, Simbwa guided the tax collectors to table summit after five wins in five games. His side conceded only once and scored ten times which gave an average of two goals scored per game.

Both Anaku and Simbwa walked away with a token of 1 million shillings each.
