While Nabulime is widely recognized for her role as a defensive midfielder, Masar FC has listed her as a defender, suggesting she is a direct replacement for fellow Ugandan international Shadia Nankya.
Nankya, who previously played for Masar FC, recently moved to the United States to join Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Nabulime is renowned for her defensive midfield capabilities, including her composure on the ball and excellent distribution.

These qualities were on full display during her tenure with the Valley Warriors, and she is expected to bring the same level of performance to her new club.
Interestingly, Nankya, whom Nabulime is set to replace, had also showcased versatility in her career.
Before settling into her defensive role, Nankya briefly played as a striker during her time at Uganda Martyrs High School.
Nabulime’s arrival at Masar FC sees her reunite with former Kawempe Muslim teammate Aisha Nantongo.

The duo is expected to form a strong defensive partnership, potentially making a significant impact in the Egyptian league.
Masar FC has also seen another key departure, with Burundian international striker Sandrine Niyonkuru set to join a club in the Chinese Women’s Super League.

Nabulime’s exit at Kawempe Muslim further emphasizes the club’s transition phase, having let go of some other individuals like Hadijah Nandago and Shakira Nankwanga with new faces like Jovia Nakagolo and a couple of Youngsters coming through ranks.

As Nabulime embarks on this new journey in Egypt, all eyes will be on how she adapts to her new permanent role and contributes to Masar FC’s title defense.
