In a remarkable display of football finesse, St Lawrence University (SLAU) outclassed Kabale with a resounding 6-1 victory at Kavule.
Kembo Osuman Arafat opened the goal flow just 29 minutes into the game after Matege Innocent threaded a beautiful pass
Nine (9) minutes later, Kato Derrick assisted Kembo to double the lead after a dominant passage of play by the home side.
With a minute to close the half, provider of the first goal turned to scorer as Matege after being assisted Agaku Vincent’s through ball.
In the second stanza, Kabale scored a consolation through Owonyu Michael Aturinda in the 52th minute.
However it was a Matege masterclass as he assisted two goals for both Kayongo Michael five past the hour mark and Ziraba Ronnie nine minutes later.
SLAU top Group C with four (4) points while Kabale sink bottom with a point and negative goal difference.
