Nkumba University managed to pick a point on the road after drawing goalless against Nkumba University on Sunday afternoon in Mbale.
The game kicked off in a confused state where it was hard to understand which kind of style both were playing for first ten minutes.
On the quarter hour mark, Nkumba’s Isaac Musuga lost the ball in a dangerous area to Kawooya Imam who flashed one just wide of the post from outside the box.
Seven minutes later, Kennedy Ssewakambo dragged a shot wide after a quick Nkumba breaksparked by a Balyawo Ishaque challenge on Owor Armstrong.
With half a hour past, Nkumba slowly started to show what they can be capable of in very short-lived flashes with Musuga nipping in on Denis Onongo to put the visitors back in control of the ball again going on to finish the game 0-0.
Seven minutes after restart, IUIU enjoyed a nice spell of possession and Jimmy Mpande delivers a dangerous cross but Ismael Lubega stood tall and dealt with the danger.
Going on to the next five minutes, IUIU certainly grew in confidence since the start of the second half

Ten minutes later, the home-side continued to work the ball along the Nkumba box but Bbosa’s side were resolute and managed to snuff out the danger will the 90th mark.
