Muni University grinded out 2-0 win against a resilient University Of Kisubi (UNIK) in Arua on Tuesday afternoon
The hosts goals came late in the second half through Eputiot Francis and Mungufeni Dan sending Muni fans wild.
Eputiot got the breakthrough striking a lose ball home after UNIK failed to clear their corner, nine(9) mintes to the 90.
Late on in the last minute of the closing half, Mungufeni doubled the lead for the hosts after meeting Deogratius Econi’s corner kick.
This victory takes Muni level on points with International University of East Africa but maintains third position in Group E.
On Wednesday, 23rd October 2024 we will see some Group D action as Gulu play host to Kampala University in Gulu at 3pm.
