NKumba University managed to beat League toddlers ISBAT 2-0 at Nkumba in Entebbe on Saturday evening.

Mukasa Henry and Lubega Ismael scored the two goals in either halfs for The Beach Boys to propel them to the group summit.

Mukasa’s goal which was labeled as a beauty opened the score as early as the 5th minute when he struck from the center only for  ISBAT shot stopper Kakumiriza Daniel to save from inside the goal line.

In the second half with Five minutes past the hour mark, Lubega doubled the host’s lead with a powerful strike off a given free kick at the edge of the box.

This victory takes Nkumba top of Group A with 3 points, level with IUIU  and just a goal more than the Mbale side.
