The entertainment scene has been filled with ugly scenes from fights between two camps of artists, Pallaso ‘Pius Mayanja’ and Alien Skin ‘Partrick Mulwana’.
To settle this battle, President of the Uganda Boxing Federation(UBF), Moses Muhangi has called upon these two to fight each other in an organized boxing match.
UBF came up with an exciting initiative known as ‘Corporate boxing’ that has people especially those with fame involved in boxing matches and has since seen three fights, with the most recent having two other musicians Grenade Official and Rickman and was won by the latter.

“They’re ruining the image of boxing with these illegal fights, both are in the same weight category so we invite them to settle all this in a legal fight and the winner will be awarded his belt.”
The relationship between Boxing and music in Uganda can not be over looked, Pallaso’s brother Jose Chameleon and Bobi wine were the highlight of the 2012 national middleweight title fight when both showed up to support close friends, Zebra Ssenyange Mando ‘late’ and Hassan Bana Bana Dibba respectively.
Bobi Wine had already been in a ring before, winning his boxing match by a knockout against South Sudanese opponent Mohammed Swalley in 2008.
This relationship has continued to more recent times, musicians’ security teams commonly known as ‘egaali’ usually having boxers on them.
2023 Uganda Boxing Champions League Light Middleweight winner, Muzamir Ssemuddu was the leader of John Black’s security and the musician occasionally led him into the ring for almost every fight to show his support.
Muhangi recognized this bromance while talking about this probable fight.
“These artists have our boxers on their gangs and they also put them at risk with all these illegal fights, so we urge them to settle their battles in a more organized way.”
