The Run’s proceeds will support initiatives enhancing access to quality education for girls, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Since its inception in 2023, the event has raised UGX 500 million for girls’ education, positively impacting over 10,000 girls across Uganda.
Twelve corporate companies sponsored the event, including Mighty Rides Limited, Hariss International, and Prudential Uganda. DHL Uganda partnered with the event to ensure responsible waste management.
“The Absa KH3 7 Hills Run is truly special,” said Brian Adams Ategeka, one of the elite winners. “It’s physically demanding but incredibly rewarding, knowing we’re running for a cause bigger than ourselves.”
David Wandera, Interim Managing Director of Absa Bank Uganda, added, “Your participation strengthens our ambition to be a force for good, allowing us to reach and uplift even more girls in our communities.”
The event culminated in a vibrant celebration featuring performances by Rema, Elijah Kitaka, and Cindy.
