A 36- man 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) provisional squad was named by Uganda Cranes Head Coach Paul Put on Wednesday morning.
With three teenagers James Bogere, Isima Magala Mulala and Brian Ijara included in the squad the hopes and excitement is held high.

However Uganda Cranes regular Denis Omedi was also part of the provisional squad and another that qualified for the 2025 AFCON Tournament will not be around among those in camp.
This comes after Omedi exited the domestic bracket when he joined Rwandan Giants APR just like Hakim Kiwanuka.

The CHAN tournament will be Co-hosted in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania from February 1st to 28th of the same month.
