NEC FC annonced the return of James Odoch into football management on Thursday morning ahead of a promising season.
However this time it is in the capacity of an assistant coach and will deputise head coach Hussein Mbalangu.

He joins NEC at having a time off since he left formerly Wankulukuku based Express FC in December 2023.
Odoch spent a few years as an assistant to Wasswa Bbosa at Express FC before being named Head coach on interim basis in 2021 and later on accepted on permanent after five and a half months in July 2022.
