MatchDay 3 of the National Basketball league tipped off tonight with two games in each of the men and women’s tiers.

In a repeat of last year’s Division one final at the indoor Arena in Lugogo, Victoria Crocs had a comfortable 31-26 halftime lead but Rezlife saints came back to earn their second consecutive win of the season on 57-63.

Acinbaai Apugi stood out for the saints with 22 points, the most by any player on court followed by Ronald Ayume who made 12 for the varsity side.

Before that, Sharon Kirabo was the only KIU player with double digits, she made 16 points as rangers came from down to win 66:51 against UPDF Lady Tamahalks its first loss of the season.

At Abja Parks, In-form Nam blazers continued with their perfect run securing a 79-91 win over JKL Dolphins while Angels had Martha Patience and Caroline Nyakato put up 12 and 13 points respectively but still weren’t enough to avoid a 44-54 loss against magic stormers .

Action continues this Friday at the Lugogo Arena as KCCA Leopards fave KIU Rangers and Namblazers agaist JT jaguars, the two sides who’ve kept 10 time record champions City Oilers winless this season.
