Youngster Nathaniel Atamba has completed a move to Arua-based Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC. The forward joins the Caterpillars from USA outfits FC Minneapolis.
The 20-year old agreed to join the caterpillars on a one-year contract with the club announcing details of the deal on their social media.
Atamba joined FC Minneapolis as an 18-year-old and went on to score scored 32 goals and providing 19 assists in 87 appearances, during his two years stay at Minneapolis, including scoring four goals in an 8-1 cup victory over Barron SC on his debut.
He now becomes the Arua based side’s 14th signing coming after the club snapping up Ramathan Dudu and Rashid Agau who returned to the club, and Jarieko James, Aluma Oscar Musa, Okello Ivan, Yakin Rashid, Nathan Oloro, Kitabalwa Robert, Isaac Okello and Aluma Muzaid as fresh additions.
Tibo Balemangi Tressor, Taban Wijo, Micheal Lutaaya also joined the club in a massive overhaul of the playing staff under new head coach George Lutalo.
Reports have increasingly linked Onduparaka to announce the return of former captain Shaban Muhammad before the 2021/22 season gets underway.
