Namblazers have picked up their third straight win of the season with a dominant 83:57 Victory against JT Jaguars at the Lugogo indoor Arena tonight.
A result which was never in doubt from the start, blazers were firing on all cylinders, opening up the first quarter with a 9point lead.
Jaguars closed the gap, heading into halftime at 34:32 but blazers stretched their lead further to 14 points before the final quarter.
Three blazers finished with double digits, both James Okello and Micheal Makiadi banked a double-double with 16 and 12 points respectively and 11 rebounds a piece.
But they were only a complement to the best player on the floor, the high flying Jimmy Enabu who made a 20 point contribution. One behind Jaguars’ Were Mark who scored the most on the night.
Earlier on, the ladies had already put on a show, KCCA Leopards with a 73:65 win against KIU Rangers in a tightly contested match.
Five KCCA players in Ninette Uwineza, Tracy Namugosa, Rebecca Aanyu, Margaret Baagala and Perus Nyamwenge finished with double figures, 10, 11, and 13 points for the rest, respectively.
KIU also had Stella Nanfuka on a 10pts 12reb double-double with Ines Kanyamuneza and Sharon Kirabo scoring 15points each.
