Musa Walangalira: veteran defender quits BUL FC

Veteran Musa Walangalira has departed Bidco Uganda Limited Football Club ( BUL FC)

This was announced by the Uganda Premier league side on Saturday in a statement.

“BUL Football Club has released experienced defender Musa Walangalira after his contract with the team expired at the end of last season” read the statement  in parts.

“This has been a challenging decision and not one that the management has taken lightly.”

“We are grateful to Walangalira for what he has offered to the team as a player since 2018.”

Walangalira leaves the Jinja based side after three years since he joined them in 2018 from Jinja Municipal Council.

Now 40 years, he is one of the oldest players in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

Before joining BUL FC, Walangalira had spent 10 seasons at JMC since he joined them in 2008 from Iganga MC.

The Jinja based side has offered to organize a testimonial match for the defender
