Former KCCA defender Musa Ramathan has completed his move to FC Cincinnati 2.
The 20-year old joins the American side from Czech National Football League side MFK Vyskov on an initial loan move through 2022, with an option to complete a permanent move.
But Musa move is subject to league and federation approval in addition to ITC and work authorization.
“I’d like to welcome Musa to Cincinnati,” said Tyrone Marshall, Head Coach of FC Cincinnati 2 on Tuesday
“He is a physical central defender with great potential who we believe can help our group and develop within the FC Cincinnati environment.” he added.
Musa was part of the Uganda Hippos team that made it to the finals of the 2021 Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
He joined Vyskov early this year from KCCA, together with Aziz Kayondo, who last week completed his move to Real Salt.
FC Cincinnati 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. It is the reserve team of FC Cincinnati and participates in MLS Next Pro.
