The Ntare School Team Pick Up (Men) and Mbarara University Hoopers (Ladies) were winners of the 2nd Circuit of the Mountain Dew UG 3×3 Series that was held on Saturday 26th October at the MUST Court.
Ntare School Team Pick Up edged Mbarara University Thunderbolts 16-15 in a thrilling semi-final to book a meeting with Global Giants in the men’s final whom they also beat 12-10.

Men’s Category RunnerUp Global Giants
In the Ladies category Mbarara University Hoopers edged Kigezi Tigers 3-2.

A total of 24 mens teams and 6 ladies teams competed in the Mbarara circuit of the nationwide Mountain Dew UG 3×3 Series.
Both Ntare Team Pick Up and MUST Hoppers qualified for the Finals that will be played on 7th December.
The Mountain Dew UG 3×3 Series heads east next weekend for the Jinja Circuit on 2nd November that will be played at the Jinja SS Courts.
A total of 7 circuits are being played across the country;

– Mukono
Prize money at each stop circuit is UGX 400,000 for the winner and UGX 200,000 for the runner-up in both the men and women’s categories.
Prize money in the Finals is UGX 2,000,000 for the Winner and UGX 1,000,000 for the RunnerUp.
