Dipu Riparelia was voted Federation of Motorsport clubs of Uganda (FMU) president on Saturday evening at Kati Kati restaurant in Lugogo.
Dipu becomes the sixth President to take charge of office on a four years term.
Dipu Ruparelia managed intense competition from incumbent Dusman Okee and Jack Wavamuno. Dipu collected 36 votes 11 ahead of Wavamuno who collected 26 votes and Okee only managed 14 votes.
Leon Ssenyange lost with o my 2 votes to Jeff kabagambe in a tight vote as Ssenyange gathered 42 votes and kabagambe collected 44 votes.
Leila Mayanja also defeated Raynolds Kibira to the seat of General Secretary as the only lady at the new elected committee.
Shemmy Ssemakula was elected as the vice president after defeating Ken Katariko and Kees Kagolo.
