Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has been found guilty of sexual assault by the New Law Court in Gqeberha.
Sredojevic was accused of sexually assaulting a 39-year-old woman during the 2020 COSAFA Cup tournament which was held in the Eastern Cape.
At that time, Micho was the head coach of the Zambian senior national team and this was the same year after he had left Pirates for Zamalek.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), the sexual assault happened at Wolfson Stadium when the woman delivered coffee to Micho and his colleagues.
Micho went further that day and touched the same woman inappropriately and the case of Sexual Assault was opened against the Serbian Wolf.
Micho was arrested and released on bail of R10,000.
Since then, Micho has been in and out of court until Today, Tuesday 19th October that he has been found guilty of the offence and has been slapped with a suspended five-year prison sentence.
This means Micho should not be found guilty of any similar offence in the next five years or else he will be arrested with immediate effect.
