In a remarkable ceremony held on Friday at the Mandela Group’s Industrial Area branch in Kampala, Kyeyune Godfrey, a fortunate winner, was handed the keys to a brand new 100% electric vehicle.

This exciting giveaway was part of a promotion hosted by Mandela Group of Companies, in conjunction with Linglong Tyre, offering customers a chance to win an eco-friendly car.
The event was graced by Mrs. Sarah Rubanga Kaggwa, the Deputy Honorary Consul of Canada to Uganda, who had the honor of officially presenting the keys to Kyeyune.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy as Mr. Kyeyune, a teacher by profession, received his prize, marking a milestone moment for both him and the company.
Kyeyune’s journey to winning the car started with his participation in the Mandela Group promotion.
To enter, participants needed to purchase at least two Linglong Tires and avail of motor services at any of the City Oil service centers.
Kyeyune was the lucky winner, and after being announced as such just a few days ago, the long-awaited handover took place, much to his delight.
“I’m very happy to share my personal experience with Linglong tires. I’ll continue purchasing them because they’re long-lasting and perform well under various pressure conditions. I recommend them to everyone,” an excited Kyeyune shared during the ceremony.
He also expressed his gratitude for the transparency of the campaign and the joy of receiving the electric vehicle, noting how the news had already spread worldwide, and how many visitors had already come to see his new car. Kyeyune’s heartfelt thanks went to the Mandela Group for the generous gift.
Mahad Twaha, one of the marketing officials at Mandela Group, took the opportunity to highlight the remarkable features of the vehicle. He shared that the car, being a fully electric model, is in line with the global green revolution, producing zero emissions and helping reduce the carbon footprint. “We’re committed to being part of this sustainable movement by rewarding our customers with eco-friendly vehicles,” Mahad said.
Security is also a priority with the new electric vehicle. Mahad emphasized that the car comes with advanced features designed to ensure safety and protect it against theft.
The fully automated car can only be operated by the authorized owner, providing peace of mind for Kyeyune as he drives into this new chapter with his eco-friendly car.
Excitingly, Mahad also shared that Mandela Group is not done yet. There are still two more vehicles to be given away as part of the ongoing promotion, which runs until the end of this month.
He encouraged more customers to participate and take their chances to be as fortunate as Kyeyune Godfrey.
