The visitors got an early sight at goal which fell to Jacob Namaisi who put the ball over the bar before Kasaga beat the visitors defence but recovered to clear the ball.

The game was goalless throughout the whole of the the first half with no major threat but just a whole chunk of possession to Mbarara University who were like barking dogs that never seemed to bite.

In the second stanza, The home side came out with energy, putting a lot of pressure on the visitors hence getting their reward just two minutes after restart through Owemugisha Bahinguzi who came with in a powerful run on the left flank, cutting inside to create space for the opener.

The hosts took advantage of the wet pitch however much they were on receiving end in the most part of the second half, they had a chance to kill off the game in the 54th minute but the goal scorer put wide free header after a beautiful cross on the right by Kevin Ssekimbegga.

A minute later, Substitute Agaba Darius of MUST brought down Pacy forward Owemugisha Bahinguzi who looked to be uncontrollable on the day to earn himself the first yellow card of the day.

On the other side, frustration continued to rise as they could not have an equalizer with lots of chances with most of got through the Corners including one that was taken off the line by the Makerere defenders leaving a debate of whether the ball crossed the line or not.

With twenty minutes left on the clock, forward Sadat Kassaga scored the second goal for the hosts. A goal that many who witnessed it called a worldie after great corner which was deflected to fall on Sadat for a scissor over-head kick into the back of the net.

Reagan could have made it three for the hosts but his header went over the bar from a nice delivery from Kasaga before Ssekimbegga low cross was cleared away.

In the final ten minutes, the M.U.S.T head coach was sent off the pitch due to constant complaining to the linesman and referee about the Makerere University players wasting time.

Before the end of the game, Sadat had the last chance of the day but was denied by Victor Byaruhanga

For their second goal, you could easily that their was a foul but we shall wait in our home because I think everyone has win at their home ground”
