Former Busoga United forward Joel Madondo is set to join Mbeya City, a Tanzania Premier League side in the January transfer window, The Touchline Sports can confirm.
Madondo, who joined Gaddafi FC in the 2020/21 season from Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca has reportedly fallen out of grace at the club and considered surplus to requirements, having failed to find his mark off the bench.
From the start of the season, he has featured for two coaches, Mubarak Wamboya and Peter Onen and still has spent more time on the bench than on pitch
He has started only five of the 13 Gaddafi games this season and has found the back of the net only once.
If he joins Mbeya City, he will link up with former Cranes and KCCA FC coach Mathia Lule who is the head coach at the NBC Tanzanian Premier League side.
