Lugazi FC have called upon former Vipers head coach to replace William Kyeswa who was suspended by the club a fortnight ago.
The promotional expert Richard Makumbi has been named the Club’s new head coach with immediate effect.
Since suspending Kyeswa, the Lugazi side has been under the interim guidance of assistant coach Gerald Efiti.
Experienced Makumbi has so far guided a total of 12 clubs to topflight football which include Bunamwaya (now Vipers SC), BUL FC, Soana, Iganga Town Council, Fire Masters, Mbarara City and Buikwe Red Stars, SCOUL, Mukono Lions, Utoda and Kenya’s Western Stima.
He has found Lugazi currently laying 6th on the Big League log with 11 points from the six games with Makumbi ‘s task coming ahead against Kiyinda Boys on Thursday, 16th November.
