Kitunga Cranes braced for a friendly against Umbrella FC

Kitunga Cranes will make a short trip to Lugogo on Saturday evening to face Umbrella FC.

This game will be played at the KCCA game at exactly 4pm.

Kitunga Cranes is a non-league team that originates from a Munyuyera High School Kitunga School League.

URA skipper Shafiq Kagimu, Arua Hill fullback Gerega Atendele and former presidential aspirant General Mugisha Muntu are some the prominent Old Students of the school.

The Kitunga League was initiated in 2018 as one of the means to unite Alumni from the Ntungamo district based side.

The league is in season four and currently consists of 15 teams. Rwakijuma United are the defending champions while Kimiranku FC are the most successful side with two cups.

To the enticing game on Saturday, Barrack Abraham, Rashid, Ahereza Edgar “Obar” and Niyonzima Benon will be Kitunga’s men to watch out for while former Kyambogo University captain and University Football League winner Mark will be the star man for Umbrella FC.
