Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club ( KCCA FC) U20 team has travelled to Tanzania for Cambiasso Rainbow U20 tournament.
32 people, that includes 21 players have travelled to Dar es Salaam ahead of the tournament that will take place between 22-30th July.
The tournament will include 12 selected teams from across Africa and France.
The other teams include Simba (Tanzania), Young African ( Tanzania), Montpellier HSC (France), Azam FC ( Tanzania), Cambiasso Sports, Mtibwa Sugar (Tanzania), Academy Foot Douala ( Cameroon), Coastal Union (Tanzania), Aigle Noir ( Burundi), Janza Soccer School ( Zambia), Zanzibar Combine ( Zanzibar), Kiyovu Sport (Rwanda) and Taifa Academy (Kenya)
The main purpose to give youths a chance to show their potential in soccer and get opportunities to be seen in the world of international soccer.
Juma Ibrahim, Andrew Kawooya, Elvis Mwanje, Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja have all been included in KCCA’s travelling squad.
The team will be coached by former KCCA FC players Richard Malinga who will be assisted by Saka Mpiima.
