KCCA FC delivered an emphatic performance against Bright Stars as they won 5-0 in their Uganda Premier League clash at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo to register a third consecutive victory in the league second round.

The kasasiro boys made their intentions clear from the very first whistle, asserting dominance over Bright Stars with goals from Arafat Usama, Saidi Mayanja and a brace from Bright Anukani before Joao Gabriel sealed a 5-0 victory.

Midfielder Bright Anukani was at the forefront of the attacking surge, scoring a first-half brace with his second coming from a direct free kick that put the Kasasiro Boys in a commanding position.

Anukani’s clinical finishing was complemented by a brilliant all-around performance from Arafat Usama, who played a pivotal role in the team’s offensive display.

Usama was involved in two of KCCA’s goals—scoring one himself and providing an assist for Saidi Mayanja.

The second half saw KCCA FC continue their relentless attack, with Solitilo Bright Stars unable to mount any serious challenge.

Brazilian Gabriel capped off a comprehensive performance by scoring the fifth goal of the match, securing a 5-0 victory for the hosts. Gabriel’s goal was a testament to KCCA FC’s depth in attack, with the fans favorite putting the icing on the cake.

KCCA FC’s performance was a masterclass in clinical finishing, teamwork, and tactical discipline.

The midfield partnership of Anukani and Usama was especially effective, with the duo not only scoring but also creating opportunities for their teammates.

The defense remained solid throughout, ensuring that Bright Stars had minimal chances to threaten the KCCA goal.

With this resounding victory, KCCA FC has moved to fourth place in the Uganda Premier League standings, accumulating 34 points.

The win solidifies their strong push for the top positions and marks a significant improvement in their recent form.

The team’s third consecutive victory under coach Abdallah Mubiru speaks volumes about the tactical discipline and attacking prowess that has been instilled in the players.

The victory not only extended their impressive run but also saw them rise to fourth place on the league standings with 34 points, marking their third consecutive win under coach Abdallah Mubiru.

KCCA FC will return to action on the 5th April as they visit Kitara FC at the Royals park stadium in the league whereas Bright Stars returns to action as they host Police FC in the Kavumba derby.
