Kampala Queens took a decisive step toward clinching their second Finance Trust Women Super League title after a confident 3-1 away victory over Amus College at Amus Stadium.

The unbeaten Palace Queens displayed their trademark grit and dominance, securing all three points through goals from Zainah Nandede, Kamiyati Naigaga and Catherine Nagadya.

Despite a spirited performance from the hosts, Amus College could only muster a consolation goal from Ikalaka Sharlyne.

With this result, Kampala Queens extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points, now sitting on 47 points from 19 games.

Defending champions Kawempe Muslim remain second with 38 points and an equal number of games played, setting up a high-stakes clash between the two sides in the next fixture a potential title decider to be held at MTN Stadium, Lugogo.

The victory also preserves Kampala Queens’ unbeaten run this season, having recorded 14 wins and 5 draws.

Their consistency and depth have made them the team to beat, and they now stand just a few points away from sealing the championship.
