FUFA Women Super League champions Kampala Queens have announced the signing of striker Joanita Ainembabazi.
Ainembabazi joins the palace queens from Indian side FC Karanataka where last played for in the 2024/2025 season putting pen to paper on a two years deal.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of forward Joanita Ainembabazi on a two years deal. She joins us from Indian side FC Karanataka,” wrote the club on their social media pages.
Ainembabazi comes with vast experience in the Uganda Women Super league having played for Rines SS WFC and She Coporate FC before joining Tanzania side Cesia Queens and Simba WFC.
Kampala Queens are assembling a strong squad as they prepare to represent the country in the 2025 CAF Women Champions league zonal Qualifiers.
The Qualifiers will be played in Arusha Tanzania.
