After a four-month break, the Futsal Uganda Cup resumes with the quarterfinals on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Old Kampala Futsal Arena. The night will feature four knockout matches between 6 PM and 10 PM, with teams vying for a place in the semifinals.

The opening fixture pits Kabuusu Clouds against Motion Sports, two teams that advanced convincingly from the Round of 16.

Match Preview: Kabuusu Clouds vs. Motion Sports

Both teams head into this encounter in strong form. Motion Sports dismantled Entebbe Cheaters 8-2, while Kabuusu Clouds overpowered Busunju Sp 7-1 in their previous match.

For Motion Sports, Marvin Ssenyonjo, who scored four goals in the last round, will be a key attacking threat alongside Nasser Mwebe, who netted a brace.

Kabuusu Clouds will look to Najib Muwonge, who showcased his attacking prowess with a hat trick in the previous round. Supporting him will be Tonny Ssemwogerere, Gadafi Bazanyanengo, and Julius Ssenoga, all instrumental in the team’s dominant performance.

Defending champions Park FC face First Touch in what promises to be a highly competitive tie.

8:00 PM – Fiyore FC vs. Kisenyi FC
A high-scoring contest is expected when Fiyore FC meets Kisenyi FC.

  • Fiyore FC thrashed Lubaga Grameen Youth 8-3, with Abdiwali Ali scoring four goals.
  • Kisenyi FC registered the biggest win of the previous round, crushing Nansana Aska Academy 9-0, with Ilyas Omran netting a hat trick.

9:00 PM – Crown Lubiri vs. Mengo City
The final game of the night features Crown Lubiri against Mengo City.

  • Mengo City advanced after a 3-0 victory over Lubaga Grameen.
  • Crown Lubiri eliminated Nansana Aska with an 8-3 win, with Ahmed Abdulkadir Hassan scoring a hat trick.
