Goalkeeper James Alitho has completed a move back to URA FC, the club has announced.
Alitho has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will see him at the club till 2023.
He returns to the Tax Collectors after failing to impress at Zambian Premier League Zanaco FC where he joined in 2019 from the Tax Collectors.
At URA, he is set to battle out with the club’s number one Nafian Aliozi for a spot in the upcoming season following the departure of Hannington Ssebwalunyo to BUL on loan. Nafian was for long Alitho’s understudy at the club before the latter’s departure.
He becomes the second player to return to URA FC for a second stint this window after Saidi Kyeyune returned after a short stint in Sudan.
The club has also acquired Vianney Ssekajugo, Derrick Ndahiro, Simon Baligeya, Living Kabon and Andrew Isiagi Okiring ahead of the 2021/22 season.
