Uganda Hippos midfielder Isma Mugulusi has completed his move to 16-time Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa.
Mugulusi was announced on Sunday afternoon by the Jogoos on the club’s social media platforms.
“I am Isma Mugulusi and i am a Jogoo. Joining SC Villa is one of the easiest decisions of my football career. Reflecting on how other players have crossed the Nile and joined SC Villa like Hakim Magumba, i knew it was the right path. I thank my parents and the club for helping me and putting me on the forefront of this. I can’t wait to meet my teammates. To the Villa fans, we meet soon, i am here to win.” Mugulusi said in the video.
Mugulusi joins the record UPL champions from Busoga United and is one of the most highly rated youngster in Uganda.
He was part of the Uganda Hippos squad that finished second at the U20 AFCON in Mauritian early this year.
He becomes the Jogoos third addition this window after Charles Bbaale and Kenneth Semakula was captured early on.
