The ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 2 will take place in Dar es Salaam Tanzania from August 2nd to August 11th, 2024.
The tournament features eight teams—Tanzania, Ghana, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Mozambique, Rwanda, and Botswana—competing for the top three spots.
These top three will advance to Division 1, where they will join Uganda, Kenya, and Namibia for the final qualifier, scheduled for next year.
The matches will be hosted at two prominent venues: the Dar Gymkhana Club and the University of Dar es Salaam grounds.
The teams are divided into two groups:
Group A: Botswana, Malawi, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone
Group B: Tanzania (hosts), Ghana, Mozambique, and Nigeria
This tournament is a critical stepping stone for these young talents as they vie for a place in the next stage of qualifiers, offering them a platform to showcase their skills on an international stage.
